Known for their cinematic quality and diverse architecture, the streets of Buenos Aires have starred in many different films over the years. Meet at the back entrance to the Patio Bullrich Mall in the Retiro neighborhood, and we'll journey together through the city to find these sites.
Throughout the tour, we'll use a tablet to showcase several scenes from Argentine films filmed in Buenos Aires. Additionally, we'll pinpoint the exact locations within the city where these iconic sequences were shot. Our route will center around three renowned feature films: "Nueve Reinas," "Relatos Salvajes," and "La Historia Oficial."
When it comes to "Nueve Reinas," we'll discuss memorable scenes featuring Juan and Marcos, portrayed by Gastón Pauls and Ricardo Darín. Who could forget, for instance, their daring attempt to steal the winning check? Additionally, we'll make a quick stop at the hotel that played a significant role in the movie.
We'll also explore "Relatos Salvajes," where Ricardo Darín portrays Bombita we'll guide you to iconic locations from the film, including the confectionery and the police station. And about "La Historia Oficial," we'll take you to the very corner where the main characters drove a striking green Ford Falcon, just as depicted in the movie.
After a tour of approximately two hours, we'll conclude this film tour of Buenos Aires in the luxurious hotel where, in the movie Nueve Reinas, the Spanish imposter buys the nine queens, thanks to Leticia Bredice. In addition, at the end of the tour, we'll see a screening of the comical mishaps of a jilted girlfriend (Érica Rivas) at the end of Relatos Salvajes.
