I was there in 2005. Everything was very pleasant and perfect. Only the horse activity in the afternoon was shorter, only the ring competition. In 2005 the most rewarding spectacle was that of the horses in a herd, and how they were separated by the color of their coat. I found the horse exhibition shorter compared to the previous exhibition in 2005 and I noticed that the exhibition at the bullring was missing.

Gaucho Cowboy Cookout

After meeting up in Buenos Aires, you'll leave the city behind and head deep into one of the most traditional areas of the Pampa region. Here is where we find ‘Santa Susana Ranch’, a unique location for our authentic gaucho party.

Having arrived at the ranch you'll enjoy some typical empanadas accompanied by an Argentinian wine and soft drinks. Then we'll visit some of the most historic attractions in Santa Susana, such as the old founders' house: an authentic trip back in time!

Then you'll explore the ranch and its surroundings in a horse-drawn cart, before enjoying a delicious Argentinian barbeque with salad and, of course, an open bar!

Following, the meal you'll enjoy a traditional folk show, and immersed in gaucho culture, you'll even have the opportunity to try your hand at one of their most traditional games - the carrera de sortijas - a kind of miniature jousting, where the objective is to catch a small, hanging ring at top speed. Something that truly has to be seen to be believed.

Finally, we'll head back to Buenos Aires, where the excursion ends.

Hotel Pick Up

The excursion includes pick up in the hotels in the centre of Buenos Aires. If you are staying outside of this area, we'll get in touch to agree on a central meet point.

Drop Off

Back in Buenos Aires, the excursion will finish in some of the main touristic areas of the city. You can choose from Puerto Madero, Galerías Pacífico, Avenida de Córdoba y Pellegrini, Avenida de Córdoba y Cerrito, Cerrito y Juncal, Cerrito y Corrientes, 9 de julio y Avenida de Mayo or Corrientes y Florida.
