Would you like to visit one of the most historic bars in Buenos Aires? If so, don't miss this tango show at Esquina Homero Manzi. You'll be amazed!
Why Visit Esquina Homero Manzi?
Located on the corner of San Juan and Boedo streets, the Esquina Homero Manzi is an emblematic bar of the golden age of tango in Buenos Aires. In the 1940s, it brought together important performers, musicians and dancers of this musical genre. It's named after the illustrious poet and politician Homero Manzione, who used to frequent the place and wrote some of the best milongas and tangos at one of the tables in the bar.
As soon as you enter, the cultural significance of the Esquina Homero Manzi will become clear. Every corner of the bar bears the imprint of this historic artistic expression. So much so that it has been officially declared a Notable Café and Historical Protection Area.
