When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from the following options:

Ferry + Historic Center Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll set sail from the port in Buenos Aires on the Colonia Express ferry to Colonia del Sacramento. We'll dock in Colonia del Sacramento after a journey of around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Having disembarked, we'll set off on a 1.5-hour guided walking tour of the historic center of Colonia del Sacramento, one of the most beautiful cities in Uruguay. We'll spend an hour discovering the picturesque architecture of the UNESCO World Heritage Site-designated old quarter.

Admiring the façades of the historic buildings, we'll see how they combine Portuguese and Spanish colonial styles of architecture, reflecting the history of the city. During the tour, we'll also get to see the iconic lighthouse next to the Bastion de San Pedro, the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament, and the cobbled street known as Calle de los Suspiros, the "Street of Sighs".

After the tour of Colonia del Sacramento, you'll have some free time until the afternoon, when it'll be time to take the ferry back to Buenos Aires.

Days and times of operation: this option takes place Monday through Sunday at 8:30 am.

Ferry + Tour + Lunch

In this tour, we'll do the same activities as the previous modality, as well as enjoying lunch at El Refugio (this restaurant may vary according to availability or season). The menu will be composed of:

For the main course, you can choose between:

Chicken thigh or pork loin, both grilled with mashed potatoes or mixed salad.

Homemade pasta of the day with one of these sauces: filetto, bolognese, or leek and mushroom cream.

Meat milanesa fillet with coleslaw or french fries.

Fish of the day with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.

Ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and mozzarella with filetto or pesto sauce.

Dessert: Flan or caramel cream, depending on the day.

Days and times of operation: this option takes place Monday through Sunday at 8:30 am.

Muy buena la experiencia, el tour guiado fue bastante bueno y la guía nos informó sobre otros sitios para recorrer en el tiempo libre. Solamente que el almuerzo no incluía las bebidas, lo cual no estaba especificado en el plan. Fuimos en día feriado y se encontraba mucha gente por lo cual se tuvo que hacer largas filas para el embarque del ferry y para el restaurante; sin embargo esto no afectó la experiencia del recorrido y disfrutar el pueblo. The experience was very good. The guided tour was quite good, and the guide told us about other places to visit during our free time. The only problem was that lunch didn't include drinks, which wasn't specified in the plan. We went on a holiday, and there were a lot of people, so we had to wait in long lines to board the ferry and get to the restaurant.
