Chinatown & Barrancas de Belgrano Park Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Belgrano C station of the Mitre-Tigre railway, located on Vertiz Avenue. There, we'll welcome you and talk about the origins of this emblematic neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.
Along Arribeños Street, we'll cross the imposing Welcome Arch, a symbol of Chinatown, decorated with dragons and vibrant colours, and we'll stop to admire murals by artists such as Martín Ron, many of them with Asian and K-pop themes.
Afterwards, we'll walk along the pedestrianised Via Vai, a modern corner dedicated to alternative gastronomy. Continuing towards Juramento Avenue, we'll enter the Barrancas de Belgrano Park, one of the seven hills of the Argentine capital that stretch down to the river. In this urban park, we'll find peculiar monuments, among which the replica of the Statue of Liberty stands out.
The tour continues through the tree-lined streets of Belgrano, known not only for its large parks and cultural diversity but also for housing a large number of psychological clinics, earning it the nickname Villa Freud.
Next, we'll arrive at Plaza Belgrano, the heart of the neighbourhood. Here, the Museo de Arte Enrique Larreta awaits us, where we'll explore its rooms filled with sculptures, paintings and antique furniture, and then relax in its Andalusian gardens, which evoke the magic of the Alhambra in Granada.
As a final touch, you'll have the option of enjoying a coffee or tea in the elegant Crock Madame restaurant, located inside the museum.
Finally, we'll conclude the guided tour near Juramento Avenue, where we'll say goodbye after a 2.5-hour tour.
