Colegiales Neighbourhood Argentine Asado
What to Expect?
After meeting at the indicated time on Calle Olleros in the Colegiales neighbourhood, we'll make our way to a local family's home where we'll be welcomed to the dining room with a provolone accompanied by a glass of white wine from the northwest of Argentina. The perfect way to start this Argentine asado!
As we enjoy this starter, the host will light the grill and explain the different cuts of meat that we'll be tasting. This is the perfect opportunity to ask all your questions about the fascinating world of Argentinean meats and their preparation! We'll learn about the techniques for preparing the barbeque, the ingredients used as seasoning and the cuts for each type of meat—there's a whole a universe to discover!
While the meats, chorizo and blood sausage are on the barbecue, we'll use the fresh ingredients on the table to prepare the famous chimichurri sauce. You'll get to help out and learn the best techniques for making this delicious sauce.
Once the full asado has been prepared, it will finally be time to dig in! We'll enjoy the different cuts of meat with their traditional accompaniments. The menu will be paired with the classic Malbec wine from Mendoza. Of course, we'll enjoy a dessert and a coffee at the end of the meal. Enjoy!
After 2 hours of delighting in these local delicacies, we'll say our goodbyes and put an end to the experience.
