Very nice. The large outdoor pool was under repair, but there are so many others that its absence wasn't noticeable. Upon entering, they give you a wristband, which you use to lock the locker you choose to leave your belongings in. Very convenient. Very quiet atmosphere; there were people there, but it's so big that you can enjoy it without any problems.

GastroCellar

This ticket also includes access to the Pálinka Experience at GastroCellar—a wine tourism center where you'll discover the history and cultural significance of Pálinka, often referred to as the "Hungarian spirit." During your visit, you'll enjoy a tasting, with the option to choose either 1 cl of Pálinka or 0.5 dl of white or rosé wine.

Please note that your visit to GastroCellar can be scheduled separately and does not need to take place on the same day as your visit to the spa.

Opening Hours

The Széchenyi Spa is open every day of the year at the following times:

Monday to Friday: from 7 am to 8 pm, and last admission one hour before closing.

Saturdays and Sundays: from 8 am to 8 pm, and last admission one hour before closing.

The GastroCellar center is open Sunday to Thursday from 2 pm to 11 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 2 pm to 12 midnight

A - Yes, flip-flops are required to access the resort, as well as wearing a bathing cap in the main pool. The spa does not provide any type of material, so you should bring your own bathrobe, towel, shampoo, shower gel, etc.

A - On the 24th December, from 6 am to 2 pm. The 25th 10 am to 6 pm. 26th December 6 am to 10 pm. 31st December 6 am to 6 pm and the 1st of January 10am to 10 pm.

Q - Can we bring children?

A - It's not recommended that children enter the spa, especially in bad weather. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to use the saunas, steam baths or thermal pools due to the high mineral content. They may only use the outdoor pools, which do not contain thermal water.

Q - When is best to visit the spas in Budapest?

A - They can be visited all year round, as the thermal water stays warm even in winter. As for the time of day, you should bear in mind that the hot springs are less crowded in the early morning.

Habia una cola tremenda para entrar y tardamos más de 30min. Por dentro muchas piscinas pero todo igual solo cambia la temperatura. Varias saunas y baños turcos, y solo la exterior con algúnos chorros, un jacuzzi y unos chorros que te hacen girar alrededor del jacuzzi que fué divertido. There was a huge line to get in, and it took us over 30 minutes. There were plenty of pools inside, but everything was the same, except the temperature. There were several saunas and Turkish baths, and only the outdoor one had a few jets, a jacuzzi, and jets that made you spin around the jacuzzi, which was fun.
