St. Stephen's Basilica Budapest Ticket

  • 12 reviews | 468 travellers
I'm not a big fan of religious things, but if I were to return to Budapest, I would definitely pay to see the basilica again. It's beautiful and although there is no audio guide, there is a brochure at the entrance that explains every part of the basilica in all languages, including Spanish. We didn't go up to the dome, but the views must be beautiful.

Why Visit St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest?

Ready for an adventure at one of Budapest's top spots? With this ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica, you can explore the iconic landmark at your own pace!

This isn’t just another church—it’s a jaw-dropping architectural masterpiece. As the 3rd largest church in the country, spanning a length of 87 meters (285 feet), a width of 55 meters (180 feet), and a maximum height of 96 meters (318 feet), it's precisely the same height as the Parliament building.

Named after Hungary’s first king, St. Stephen I, who brought Christianity to the kingdom, this neoclassical wonder also houses the church's most revered relic: the mummified right hand of King St. Stephen himself.

The best part? There’s no rush. Wander through this magnificent basilica and take in all the history and beauty at your own pace.
