Explore Budapest from the water on a 1-hour cruise along the Danube River and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city's monuments and most famous bridges with pre-recorded commentary in English and one free drink.
Danube River Cruise
Experience a cruise along the Danube River from north to south, sailing under Budapest's most renowned bridges: Chain Bridge, Elisabeth Bridge, Liberty Bridge and Margaret Island’s two bridges.
Enjoy superb views of Buda and Pest and the numerous iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace, the Parliament, Gellert Hotel, Fisherman’s Bastion or Church of Saint Anne.
You'll learn about the city's history and about each monument the boat floats past listening to the pre-recorded commentary in English. You'll also be given a free drink during the journey to choose from: champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks or mineral water and a glass of homemade lemonade.
The cruise will finish by returning to the starting point.
Stop in Margaret Island
This cruise stops at Margaret Island. You can get off and discover this peaceful hideaway (well worth it) and later take the boat back to Pier 7. You'll be handed a map with a list of things to do on the island and several discounts to make the most of your visit.
All boats offer this option between March and October, except the last boat of the day, as long as access to the Danube River is possible.
