Slanic Salt Mines Day Trip

On the day of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Bucharest at the indicated time, ready to set off towards the north of the Romanian capital. The journey will take you deep into the Wallachia region, and you'll arrive at the Slanic Salt Mines after a 2-hour trip with an English-speaking driver.

Arriving at the largest salt mines in Europe, you'll explore the enormous mine at your leisure. You'll reach more than 650 feet (200 meters) underground! During your stroll through the Slanic Mines, you'll discover everything there is to know about the salt extraction process and learn about the mineral's healing properties.

At the end of your visit to the mines, we'll leave Slanic behind and head back to your hotel in Bucharest, where you'll be dropped off after a total of 8 hours.
