Guided Tour of Bucharest
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Romanian Athenaeum. Then, once we're all together, we'll start this guided tour of Bucharest – one of the best ways to get to know the city!
First, we'll discover the secrets of our meeting point, a neoclassical building dedicated to Romanian culture. After learning about the history of this emblematic building, and the locals' love for it, we'll talk about the monarchy's role in the evolution of Bucharest during the 19th century. To do so, we'll see the most amazing buildings that were built during this period.
The next stops of our guided tour will take place at Revolution Square and University Square, two places where some of the episodes that changed the history of Romania between 1989 and 1991 took place.
Finally, we'll end this 2-2.5 hour tour near Piața Unirii.
