The Museum of Communism in Bucharest is the only museum dedicated to the history and way of life of Romanians under the communist regime from the 1940s to the end of the 1980s. How did they live back then? What were the means of communication? What did they do for in their free time?

You'll enter information rooms where you'll find a wealth of records about the people who played key roles in the politics and culture of that time.

As well as that, you'll get to see an example of what apartments were like, where every piece evokes communist aesthetics. It's an exhibition that displays everything from pens to the furniture in each room of an apartment.
