Bucay Mountains Camping
Description
Day 1
We'll meet at the Bucay Adventures offices at the indicated time and start an incredible tour of the Bucay Mountains. Would you like to spend a night in the middle of the jungle? You're in the perfect place for it!
Once we're all together, we'll head into the heart of the Bucay Mountains, an enclave of forests and waterfalls that enchants everyone who visits it. Specifically, we'll head to the cloudy forest, in the lower part, where the camp where we'll spend the night is located.
Upon arrival, we'll settle in and enjoy a traditional dinner by the campfire - the best time to share our first impressions of Bucay's nature!
Day 2
We'll have breakfast at the camp and, with our batteries recharged, head to the high part of the La Esperanza Forest. There, we'll take a hiking route to see the beautiful Bucay waterfalls, such as the 90-metre-high (295 feet) Isabela Waterfall. To make the day even more special, we'll go canyoning in a 30-metre (98 feet) waterfall. It'll be great fun!
After this adventure, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the vicinity of the waterfalls. With our appetites satisfied, we'll make our way back to the camp, from where we'll head back to Bucay.
We'll finish the tour at the meeting point at 4 pm.
