Dinant & Luxembourg Day Trip

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet in central Brussels, there, the guide will be waiting for us and will accompany us to the bus. Once we are settled on board, we'll head south through the beautiful landscapes of the Belgian region of Wallonia and its picturesque mountainous areas around the Ardennes massif.

After a 1 hour and 40-minute drive, we'll arrive in Dinant, a town situated on the banks of the Meuse River. In this beautiful town, we'll visit the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and the House of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.

At the end of the guided tour of Dinant, you'll have some free time to stroll around and have a drink—a perfect opportunity to discover the local cuisine!

Then, we'll head south and, leaving Belgium behind, we'll drive another hour and a half or so toward Luxembourg, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Did you know that this is one of the smallest countries in the world? Upon arrival, we'll take a walking tour through the city's historic centre.

We'll start our tour in the old town of Luxembourg at the bustling Place d'Armes. We'll continue our walk toward the Notre-Dame Cathedral, seeing other iconic landmarks on the way. Once there, you'll find out how this cathedral is similar to its Parisian counterpart.

The tour of Luxembourg continues on to other must-see places in the city, such as the breathtaking Neumünster Abbey. This 17th-century jewel stands imposingly on the banks of the Alzette River in the heart of the historic Grund district, a World Heritage Site.

After the guided tour of Luxembourg, you'll have some free time. You can take advantage of this time to grab a bite to eat and stroll around the historic district.

In the afternoon, we'll meet again in the city centre of Luxembourg and head back to Brussels. We'll arrive at the meeting point in the Belgian capital between 11.5 and 12 hours after the morning pickup.
