Travel from Brussels to Amsterdam on a 12-hour day trip and explore the city’s scenic canals and tilted houses accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide.
Amsterdam Day Trip + Boat Trip
At the indicated time, we'll meet in downtown Brussels to board the bus that will take us out of the city and into Holland, a country as close as it is different.
As we cross the border we'll start to notice the differences from Belgium: the flat landscape, iconic windmills, and the polders—land reclaimed from the sea—that the country is renowned for.
After about 3.5 hours of driving, we'll arrive in Amsterdam. We'll start exploring the Dutch capital with a 1-hour boat ride and cruise along the iconic 17th-century canals: Herengracht, Keizersgracht, and Prinsengracht. While enjoying the views, we'll learn about the rich history of the area.
We will pass through different districts of Amsterdam, including the charming Jordaan, the famous Nine Streets, and the lively Pijp. We'll also see the Amstel River, after which the city is named, and admire the Anne Frank House and the iconic Delgado Bridge.
At the end of the boat tour, you'll have 3.5 hours of free time for lunch, shopping, and exploring the city at your leisure.
Finally, we'll return to Brussels and say goodbye in the city center after 12 hours of sightseeing.
