This tour of the stunning city of Bruges will begin at the market square or the Grote Markt, at the scheduled time. Here, we'll be able to see the impressive Belfry of Bruges, one of the city's most iconic monuments. Not too far away is the Palace of Gruuthuse, also known as the Provincial Palace. Ready to be transported back in time? This building's architecture will do just that!
After being told some really interesting facts about the sites we'll just have seen, we'll continue this free walking tour by strolling across Augustine's Bridge. As we walk, we'll hear all about the history of the infamous Ghost House. We'll eventually arrive at the Jan Van Eyck Square, where the fusion of art and history will amaze you. Then, we'll pay a visit to the Jerusalem Church, which will undoubtedly leave you speechless.
As we continue our free walking tour of Bruges, we'll check out the God House, a tiny medieval community of terraced houses. Towards the end of the tour, we'll be able to catch a glimpse of the world-famous mills, characteristic of this part of Europe.
Each step taken on this walking tour will reveal to us the relaxed and easy-going side of Bruges, which combines its historical side with its more modern one. After 2 hours together, we'll say our goodbyes. Until next time!
