Bruges Night Tour + Beer & Chocolate Tasting
Night Tour in Bruges
At the designated time, we'll meet at Grote Markt, number 18 to start our night walking tour of Bruges.
After a short introduction, we'll begin strolling under the moonlight of this beautiful Flemish city filled with canals, considered one of the prettiest cities in Belgium. The city looks like it's from a fairy tale! First, we'll see the illumination of the Belfort bell tower and the famous guildhalls.
Then, we'll head to Burg Square to see the lit-up Bruges City Hall, the Palace of Justice of Brussels, and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. According to tradition, this church houses a venerated relic of the blood of Christ, collected by José de Arimatea and brought to West Flanders in the 12th century.
We'll continue our tour crossing the Blinde-Ezelbrug Bridge until we reach Vismarkt, the Fish Market in Bruges. After a short stop to take pictures of one of the city's most beautiful canals, we'll head to the famous Bourgogne des Flanders beer factory to tell you about the most popular beverage in Belgium.
Next, we'll stop at a traditional chocolate shop to taste a chocolate praline. After this tasting, we'll pass the Gruuthusemuseum to go to the Church of Our Lady. After admiring the exterior of this church, which houses a piece of artwork from Michelangelo himself, we'll continue our walk along the Hospital of St. John and De Halve Maan, the oldest brewery in Bruges.
Finally, after a 2-hour walk, we'll conclude our night tour of Bruges at a pub in the city center, where you'll enjoy a Belgium beer tasting. The perfect ending to the tour!
