At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of Historium Bruges, from which point we'll start this bike tour of Bruges! Let's go!
You're sure to fall in love with the city as we make our way through the iconic squares and narrow medieval streets. We'll cycle through the Markt, which is the main square of Bruges, admiring the wonderful architecture and colourful buildings as we learn all about its past. We'll also go through Jan van Eyckplein Square, which is presided over by a statue of the famous painter and is considered to be among the most beautiful in Bruges. Along the way, we'll discover all of the secrets of this Belgian city and the fascinating legends which are told about it!
We'll also cycle away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre to explore the quiet canals as well as the Lake of Love. Soak in the sights as you feel the wind rush past you! One of the favourite parts of this tour is often the windmill district due to its wonderful green parks.
We'll also have the opportunity to enter the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Inside this basilica, there is a phial, which is said to contain the blood of Jesus Christ. To round off an unforgettable day, we'll stop for a refreshing drink of your choice. If you have got a sweet tooth, you'll have the pleasure of enjoying some Belgian chocolate. Delicious!
