Brisbane River Cruise & Koala Sanctuary Tour

  • 8 reviews | 62 travellers
Very relaxing activity, with a nice walk along the river enjoying the view of the banks that include nature and residential areas. The zoo is very nice, with many koalas and kangaroos. It is not worth buying tickets to take photos with koalas. They are on a branch at the height of the client and surrounded by eucalyptus leaves so that they can eat and be calm. You can hardly see their faces. In addition, they leave little time and it is expensive for what they offer.

Brisbane River Cruise & Koala Sanctuary Tour

We'll meet at the designated time at the Pontoon Cultural Centre and set sail on a pleasant boat ride down the Brisbane River.

During our cruise, we'll enjoy spectacular views of Brisbane and its buildings and monuments as we listen to interesting information with our audio guide. We'll head through neighborhoods such as St Lucia and Fairfield until we reach our next stop: the koala sanctuary.

When we enter, you'll have three hours of free time to explore the sanctuary at your leisure. You'll be able to feed kangaroos and see cassowaries, platypi, Tasmanian devils, koalas, and many more - you'll love it!

In addition, at the Lola Pine Sanctuary, we'll be able to watch a sheep dog show. We'll see how these work dogs direct the herd of sheep by resposing to whistles, calls and signals.

At the end of the tour, we'll return to the boat and make our way back to the pier after a total of 5.5 hours.
