Shipwrecks, snorkels, clear kayaks and dreamy beaches, what more could you ask for? This is just some of what you'll experience on the Moreton Island trip.
Moreton Island Trip
We'll pick you up from the meeting point in Brisbane and head towards the city's port to board a ferry for a 45-minute journey to Moreton Island.
The fun starts as soon as you set foot on the island: here you can choose between the many different activities on offer. You can snorkel with colourful fish, sea turtles and maybe even dolphins or watch the creatures from the comfort of a clear kayak as you tour the shipwrecks on the coast.
If you don't like getting wet there's also something for you on this trip: a 4x4 bus tour of the beach, an exciting way to discover the stunning Tangalooma Beach. You'll also be able to slide down the towering sand dunes on toboggans, reaching speeds of up to 70 kilometres per hour!
Then, we'll offer you a delicious picnic lunch so you can recharge your batteries. There will be different types of bread and wraps, vegetables, cold meats and all kinds of sauces so you can make your own sandwich to your liking.
After a fantastic day at the beach, we'll get on the ferry and make our way back to the port of Brisbane, where a vehicle will take us back to the original meeting points in Brisbane 11.5 hours later.
Local Fees
On the day of the trip, you'll have to pay a National Park & Ferry fee. The price will be paid in cash to the driver:
- Adults: 80 AUD (US$ 50) per person
- Children up to 13 years: 60 AUD (US$ 37.50) per person
