Bratislava Castles Guided Tour
Bratislava Castles Guided Tour
After being picked up from your hotel in Bratislava, you'll begin your guided tour of the city, getting to know its most iconic landmarks and the history that surrounds them.
The first part of your tour will take you on a route round the Slovakian capital's most emblematic sights by minibus, pausing at places like the Grassalkovich Palace, a Rococo-Baroque summer palace and the residence of the President of Slovakia; the Slovak National Theater; the modern Eurovea district; the promenade along the Danube and the remains of the city's ancient fortified walls.
We'll then make a stop at Bratislava Castle. This immense rectangular building towers over the Danube, offering magnificent views over the city and the river below, thanks to its hilltop position.
Continuing your route along the course of the Danube, we'll make our way to the ruins of Devín Castle. One of the oldest castles in the country, the fortress has been inhabited by Celts, Romans, Germans and Slavs over the course of many centuries, finally being destroyed by Napoleon's armies.
Located on a hill next to the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers, the iconic ruins are surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Don't forget your camera for the stunning views of the Slovakian countryside!
The tour will end in the center of Bratislava.
