Piatra Craiului National Park Hiking Tour
At 8:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Brasov and head towards Piatra Craiului National Park. Ready to explore the heart of the Romanian Carpathian Mountains?
After an hour and a half drive, we'll arrive at this natural park, still a virtually untouched area in the 21st century. Here, we'll start a hike through this enclave of gorges, forests, and pastures – a side of Romania that has hardly changed!
The route will be of medium difficulty and with a duration of 5-7 hours. We'll cross impressive rocky areas, pine forests, and villages that seem to be frozen in time.
We'll also pass through the Zarnesti Gorge while we tell you about the importance of shepherding and the traditional cheese factories in the area. You'll fall in love with the views of this natural environment!
Then, we'll take a break at a mountain hut or in one of the villages we pass through so you can have lunch with the food you brought with you.
Finally, after this beautiful hike in the Piatra Craiului National Park, we'll return to your hotel in Brasov after a total of 5 to 6 hours.
