During the tour we'll enjoy the main sights of Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, designed by the famed Oscar Niemeyer. Did you know that many of the buildings designed by him are UNESCO World Heritage Sites?
We'll visit the interior of the cathedral and also visit some of the most important monuments of Brasilia such as the National Congress, the Honestino Guimarães National Museum, the Federal Court and the Planalto Palace. While admiring these monuments you'll understand why the Brazilian capital has a reputation for being avant-garde, it'll be hard to photograph all of its beauty!
The tour will also take you to see the facade of the Alvorada Palace, where the president of the country resides. Its privileged location on the shores of Lake Paranoá will also provide us with a perfect view of the JK Bridge.
The Brasilia TV Tower, the Juscelino Kubitschek Memorial, the Acoustic Shell or the Don Bosco Sanctuary will be other stops on the tour. We'll tell you all about the history and peculiarities of these places.
We'll end the tour by dropping you off at Brasilia airport in time for your next flight. Have a safe trip!
Important information
The return trip from Brasilia Airport to the city centre takes 15 minutes and you should be at the airport two hours before the flight departure. Therefore, we recommend that you have at least an 8 hour layover to enjoy the tour.
