Brasilia Music and Food Tour

Between 1.30 pm and 1:45 pm we'll pick you up from your hotel in Brasilia to start a very special tour of this beautiful, avant-garde city.

Did you know that it wasn't until 1960 that Brasilia became the capital of Brazil? We'll tell you all about the move of the capital from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia and the ambitious urban project that was carried out for its construction.

We'll discover the city by minibus and by foot to better explore the most famous monuments. First stop is the church of Our Lady of Fatima, designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer, and we'll then continue on to the Don Bosco sanctuary. We'll enter this Salesian temple to learn about its history and admire its incredible blue stained-glass windows.

We'll continue the guided tour passing by the business district to arrive at the Ministries Esplanades, where numerous administrative buildings such as the Itamaraty Palace or the National Congress are situated.

The tour will take us to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Brasilia, which will pique your interest due to its modern and unique architecture. Protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, this church has become a symbol of the city's avant-garde architecture.

And so...one of the most awaited moments arrives! We'll approach the exterior of the Army Headquarters, where the Acoustic Shell monument is located. There we'll enjoy a performance by a violinist while witnessing a beautiful sunset.

After enjoying a magical show, we'll go to some local public gardens where we'll be able to have a flavoursome picnic-style snack. It will include several local produce, such as seasonal fruit juice, corn cake with cheese, and the delicious Baru chestnuts.

We'll end the tour of Brasilia by dropping you off at your hotel at 6 pm.
