Peneda-Geres National Park Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Braga at 7:30 am and board a minibus for this fantastic trip to the beautiful Peneda-Gerês National Park.

After an enjoyable 40-minute drive, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll have the opportunity to the various idyllic streams, forests, waterfalls, and panoramic viewpoints.

We'll enter this natural paradise has been a World Biosphere Reserve since 2009. On this tour through the beautiful landscapes of Portugal's only national park, we'll encounter the famous Tahiti waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal waters.

We'll continue walking to the Pedra Bela viewpoint where we will enjoy the best views across the beautiful Gerés valley and the Caniçada reservoir. And before finishing the tour of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, we will have a delicious picnic lunch in the open air.

Finally, we return to the minibus and drive back to your hotel where we drop you at 6 pm.

El guía fue muy cordial, muy buen conductor, quizás no era muy exacto en los tiempos de encuentro. El lugar INCREÍBLE, pero: de parte de la empresa creo que falto detallar que se paraba en tres playas, entonces el traje de baño no era una sugerencia, y algunos de los puntos no eran aptos para niños ni para la tercer edad. The guide was very friendly, a very good driver, perhaps he was not very precise in the meeting times. The place was AMAZING, but: I think the company forgot to detail that it stopped at three beaches, so bathing suits were not a suggestion, and some of the spots were not suitable for children or the elderly. This is an amazing tour of a beautiful park. I absolutely recommend it for anyone who loves nature and has the mobility to hike a bit. Warm, capable tour guide provided useful context on the towns and major sights. We had a chance to swim (it’s cold, even in late July), hike and just marvel at the beauty of this part of Portugal. It was great for a middle aged mom and pre-teen. We met great travelers from various countries. With only 8 people on our tour, it was more intimate / less touristy.

Sin duda, una de las mejores actividades que se pueden realizar. Nuestro guía Hernan Aguirre, fantástico. Nos explicó todo en detalle, respondiendo a todas nuestras preguntas . Visitamos y nos bañarnos en dos pozas y fuimos a dos miradores. La comida, un picnic, estupenda, muy rica y abundante. Muy recomendable. Aunque conviene saber quienes más van a la excursión, pues si hay algún grupo de gente mayor o movilidad reducida, es posible que cambie el itinerario por dificultades en los accesos. Without a doubt, one of the best activities you can do. Our guide Hernan Aguirre was fantastic. He explained everything in detail, answering all our questions. A beautiful insight into the national park and Portugal's nature. Swimming in waterfalls, hiking underneath cork trees, view over the mountains and lakes of Geres, simply stunning! Rui was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge about the country, nature and the people living here. He took such great care of us! Just a must when you are in the Porto area!
