We'll meet up at the door of the traditional winery, which is located in the small town of Bot, about an hour outside Tarragona. Then, we head inside and begin our fantastic tour of the Celler Cal Menescal bodega.
The winery is owned by the Bosch-Llovet family and dates back to the end of the 18th century. The process of turning the grapes into wine here is a historic tradition that remains just as it was all those years ago, ensuring the production of a unique, high-quality drink.
We tell you all about how the wine of this region is made and reveal some of the fascinating secrets and treasures that the winery hides, such as a 1600-liter capacity barrel, which is still perfectly preserved in its original condition.
