Fancy doing some wine tourism in the wine capital of France? With this ticket to the Wine and Trade Museum, you'll learn all about the production and marketing of Bordeaux's star product. You'll also enjoy a wine tasting!

Why Visit the Wine and Trade Museum?

Located at number 41 of Rue Borie, in the heart of the Chartrons neighbourhood, the Wine and Trade Museum in Bordeaux, is an essential place to learn the secrets of production and marketing of the most popular product of France's wine capital.

With this ticket, you can visit the museum at your own pace, which is housed in a former 18th century Irish cooperage located very close to the banks of the River Garonne. The first room is dedicated to the history of the port of Bordeaux and its important role in the wine trade in Europe.

In the second room, you'll learn about the winemaking methods and techniques used by Bordeaux winegrowers from ancient times to the present day. You'll also discover what the vineyards of the Gironde, one of the main wine-producing areas of France, are like.

The exhibition also features historic barrels and casks from different periods, as well as crates and bottles of wine from a wide range of varieties, vintages and appellations—a paradise for wine lovers!

The tour of the museum, which lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes, ends with a tasting of 2 or 3 Bordeaux wines, depending on the type of wine you choose.
