Afternoon Tour

We’ll meet at the designated time by the Monument aux Girondins, and from there, in the heart of Place des Quinconces, we’ll depart Bordeaux and head to the renowned vineyards of the Médoc region.

During the 40-minute drive, our guide will share insights into why Médoc is one of France's main wine regions. As we take in the scenic views of the traditional vineyards, it will be easy to understand its world-class reputation.

Once we arrive, we’ll dive into a wine-tasting workshop, where we’ll learn how to identify different aromas and flavors, becoming amateur winemakers for the day. It’s sure to be an unforgettable experience!

After the workshop, we’ll continue our tour through the Médoc region with a visit to a château cellar, known for producing the prestigious Grand Cru Classé wines. We’ll tour the vineyards and winery, learning about the various stages of the winemaking process. Our visit might take us to Château Marquis de Terme, Château Desmirail, Château Dauzac, or a similar estate.

To wrap up the tour, we’ll enjoy a tasting of three or four wines, perfectly paired with fresh bread, cheese, and other regional delicacies. Afterward, we’ll make our way back to Bordeaux, arriving at our original meeting point about four and a half hours later.
