Bordeaux CityPass
The Bordeaux CityPass tourist card includes free entry to 20 museums and monuments in the city, including the following:
- Pey-Berland Tower
- Moon Harbour Distillery
- Cailhau Gate
- Museum of the Sea and the Navy
- Wine and Trade Museum
- Aquitaine Museum
- Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute
- Grosse Cloche Clock Tower
- Museum and Gallery of Fine Arts
- Museum of Bordeaux
Important: the Pey Berland Tower, the Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute and the Grosse Cloche Clock Tower are currently closed. Due to the health situation, other museums and monuments in the city may also be closed. We recommend that you consult the website of each of these museums and monuments beforehand.
You can download a brochure via this link with all the museums and monuments included in the Bordeaux CityPass as well as the discounts you can enjoy such as river cruises and wine tasting in different castles.
The Bordeaux CityPass also includes a guided tour of Bordeaux with one of the following options:
- A ride on a tourist train with an English audio guide
- A ride on a tourist bus with an English audio guide (from May to September)
- A guided walking tour of the historic centre with an English-speaking guide
Some of these activities may be cancelled or modified. We'll notify you in advance at the Bordeaux Tourist Office.
Free Ticket to the Cité du Vin
With your Bordeaux CityPass card, you'll have free entry to the famous Cité du Vin (City of Wine) in Bordeaux.
Unlimited Public Transport
During the validity period of your card, you can use Bordeaux's trams, river shuttles and buses as much as you want.
How Does it Work?
Once you've booked, you'll need to collect your card from the Bordeaux Tourist Office at 12, Cours du 30 Juillet. A brochure in English and other languages with all the museums, attractions, discounts and benefits included on the card will be available at the Tourist Office.
Your card will be activated when you use it for the first time. From that moment on, you can enjoy all its advantages for 48 or 72 hours.
Please note that some monuments require prior booking at the Tourist Office and are subject to availability at the time, such as the Palais Rohan and Palais Gallien, as well as the guided tour of Bordeaux by tourist train, tourist bus or walking tour.
Opening Hours
The opening hours indicated under the booking calendar on this page correspond to the opening hours of the Bordeaux Tourist Office. These opening hours do not affect the tourist card, as the Bordeaux CityPass is valid for 48 or 72 hours (depending on the option chosen) from the first use of the card.
Important Information
You don't need to book a tourist card for children under 4 years of age, as they have free access to both the city's public transport and its museums and monuments.
