Borba Portuguese Tapas Tour
Explore Borba's Culinary Scene
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Praça da Republica in Borba to start this food tour - taste the delicacies of this Portuguese town!
During our tour of Borba, a town very close to Elvas, we'll discover the secrets of the famous "fazer as onze", which consists of a morning tour around the taverns of the town while trying wines and typical sandwiches.
Afterwards, we'll visit some traditional taverns, where you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of flavours, always accompanied by the most exquisite local wines, that grow in vineyards on marble soils, which makes them even more special.
Among the dishes you'll taste are wheat bread, cheese, sausages, olives, fried mackerel with rice and tomato, black pork and other typical flavours of the region. At each stop, you can savour and enjoy the authentic flavours of the Alentejo region.
This visit will give you a unique experience to explore not only the cuisine but also the culture of the region. Amazing!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where this 3-hour tour will come to an end.
