Boquete Coffee Tour
Description
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Boquete and drive to a high-altitude coffee farm.
Once we arrive at the hacienda, we'll take a tour through the coffee plantations. On this tour, we'll discover the different types of coffee beans that are grown in this area of Panama: Caturra, Catuai and Geisha.
During the visit, we'll also see how the Ngobe Indians, an indigenous tribe, care for and harvest the coffee plantations. Next, we'll observe the drying process of the coffee beans, a very important phase of the production chain.
To conclude our coffee tour of Boquete, we'll do a tasting of Panamanian coffee. This tasting will include the Geisha variety, one of the most expensive coffees in the world. We'll find out why this kind of coffee is so exclusive!
At the end of the tasting, we'll return to Boquete. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled 2.5 hours after pick up.
