Bologna Vespa Tour
Bologna Vespa Tour
We'll start this Vespa tour of Bologna at the time of your choice in Via Caduti di Cefalonia, located in the historical centre of the capital of Emilia-Romagna.
After a few brief indications, we'll start this exciting route in which you'll ride a Vespa scooter while following the guide. We'll first ride through the old town of Bologna and then move to the outskirts of the city to discover other outstanding monuments.
We'll pass by the San Michele in Bosco complex and, from there, we'll follow the Vespa route to the Monumento ai Caduti di Sabbiuno. This memorial, dedicated to the fallen during the Italian Resistance in World War II, is considered one of the main anti-fascist symbols of Emilia-Romagna.
The next stop will take place in front of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of San Luca, you'll be impressed by its baroque-style architecture. What's more, at the foot of this sacred complex there is a viewpoint that offers extraordinary views of the area.
Finally, after a 2-hour tour, we'll conclude this Vespa tour by returning to the centre of Bologna. Finally, we'll return the scooters to the shop located in Vicolo Cattani.
What are the scooters like?
When you make your reservation, you can opt for a 50 CC scooter tour for one person or a 125 CC scooter tour for one or two people. In the latter case, both occupants can take turns driving the scooter if they meet the necessary requirements.

Frequently asked questions
-
Q - What are the requirements for this activity?
A - To drive the scooter, you must have a valid type B driving license and experience in driving 2-wheeled vehicles. For non-EU citizens, an international driving license or sworn translation of the driving license is required. You'll also have to pay a deposit of 500EUR per scooter (refunded at the end of the tour) with a credit card (prepaid cards and American Express are not accepted). Rental will be denied to those with little experience or those who have never driven a scooter with the application of a 100% penalty and no refund.
-
Q - Which motorbike do you recommend to book?
A - The scooters have a manual gearbox, clutch and rear pedal brake, and are fuelled with a petrol/oil mixture of 2% to 3%, depending on the model. For those less experienced in driving with gears, we recommend renting a 125 CC scooter with automatic gearbox, which is easier to drive.
