We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tagbilaran or Panglao Island at 5:30 pm. From there, we'll take you to one of the piers on the Abatan River where the boat will be waiting for you to start this firefly spotting cruise.
For one hour, we'll sail along the calm waters of the Abatan River. Gradually, our eyes will start to get used to the darkness and we'll be able to admire the beauty of the Bohol jungle at night.
We'll soon be able to see hundreds of fireflies fluttering around the boat, illuminating the landscape in a uniquely magical way. Do you know how these fascinating insects get their characteristic bioluminescence? We'll discover what makes them "fireflies" and many other curious facts during the tour.
Finally, we'll return to the pier where the minibus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. We'll arrive at approximately 8:30 pm.
