Usaquén Neighbourhood Guided Tour
Description
Our guided tour of the Usaquén neighbourhood will begin at the scheduled time from the Hacienda Santa Bárbara Shopping Centre. This mall was built on a colonial estate that was declared a National Monument of Colombia.
After exploring this historic estate, we'll start walking around the different buildings in Usaquén and observing their architectural features. We'll see squares, fountains and churches built between the 16th and 17th centuries. One of these would be the Church of Santa Bárbara. which is an important place of worship for the people of Bogota.
Located in the north of the Colombian capital, Usaquén has recently become one of its most popular neighbourhoods in part due to its varied gastronomy. Packed with cosy bistros, fusion restaurants, street markets and music, this district is a must-see if you're spending a few days in Bogotá.
We'll also pass by the Eudist Valmaría Seminary, a building reminiscent of the old Jesuit missions, before continuing on to the colonial-style City Hall of Usaquén. Near this area, we'll stop for a coffee and juice.
Having explored this lively neighbourhood, we'll return to the starting point so you can continue wandering around the shops in the shopping centre or have lunch at one of the eateries. Our tour will end 3 hours after the start.
