La Chorrera Waterfall Hike

At 8:30 am we'll meet at The Cranky Croc Hostel in Bogotá to set off on our excursion to the La Chorrera Adventure Park. Before we go, we'll enjoy a hearty breakfast in the La Candelaria neighbourhood.

Then we'll set off on an hour's bus journey into the Colombian forest. When we arrive, we'll begin our hike to the magnificent La Chorrera waterfall - the highest in the country! We'll spend around two and a half hours exploring this spectacular natural area and breathing in its fresh air.

At the end of the trip, we'll hop on the bus and head back to Bogotá, arriving by around 2 pm to finish off the day with a delicious meal of traditional dishes.

The trip will end at 4 pm back at the starting point.

Amazing experience and 100% recommend if you're in Bogota. The tour guide Nick was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave some great insights into the land and history. To top it off the lunch was incredible. Wouldn't recommend going your first couple days in Bogota as the altitude is pretty tough at times but the majority of the hike is not too grueling.
