Below, you can see the details of each option:
Old Town Tour (2 hours)
Once we've begun, we'll start cycling around the old town of Bogotá. The best way to get to know the Colombian capital! Over 2 hours, we'll cycle 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) and pass through the most important locations, such as Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles Parish Church, locally called Porciúncula Church.
We'll cycle along 72nd Street to 7th Street, where we'll see the Four Seasons Casa Medina and discover the European influence on the Chapinero architecture. In addition, we'll pass by some of the most important private universities in the city until we arrive at the Bogotá International Centre.
We'll arrive at Bolívar Square, which houses the city's most important monuments, such as the Primate Cathedral, the National Capitol Building or the Mayor's Office. In this part of the tour, we'll learn all about Colombia's colonial past.
We'll continue pedalling until we finally reach Viceroy Park, where we'll discover the Foundational Square of Bogotá, we'll try some local products, and you'll also have time to learn about the tradition of craftsmen in the city.
Schedules: this tour starts at 12 noon.
Simón Bolívar Park Tour (4 hours)
Throughout this route, we'll enjoy a pleasant tour of the green lung of the Colombian capital. We'll cycle down Avenida de Chile and explore the Quinta Camacho neighbourhood until we reach the Flower Market. On this stop, we'll see the great wealth this product holds in the local economy, as well as the many varieties of Colombian flowers.
We'll continue the cycling tour by heading to the Virgilio Barco library, a place whose architecture hides many secrets. Did you know that the acoustics of its temples are some of the best in the country? In addition, we'll also take in the famous water mirrors, the perfect place to take loads of pictures!
From here, we'll enter the Simón Bolívar Park, an oasis in the middle of Bogotá where we'll cycle past the lake as we admire the migrating birds and the native ones that live there. You'll love it!
Schedules: this tour starts at 10 am.
Usaquén Neighbourhood Tour (3 hours)
If you fancy discovering the Usaquén neighbourhood, this tour is ideal for you. Let's explore one of the most fashionable areas of Bogotá! For this, we'll first make our way to the Chico Museum, where we'll see how nature and colonial architecture blend perfectly together.
The next stop of this bike tour will take place at the Flea Market, where you'll be able to acquire some artisan pieces and try some traditional food. To finish off the tour, we'll visit Viceory Park, the perfect place to rest while you enjoy the silence of nature that surrounds you.
