Cundinamarca Coffee Tour
Description
Having picked you up from your chosen meeting point in Bogotá, we'll set off southbound from the Colombian capital.
We'll go to a coffee plantation in the municipality of Fusagasugá, San Francisco, or Cachipay, depending on availability. When we arrive, we'll go on a guided tour in English or Spanish that'll last 1.5-2 hours. During our tour, we'll learn all about the different stages of Colombian coffee production, such as planting, harvesting, processing, curing, tasting, roasting and grinding. We'll also taste some coffee while admiring views of the plantation's green fields.
Next, we'll go on a tour of one of these 3 towns of Cundinamarca, where we'll have 1 hour of free time to have lunch and try some authentic Colombian gastronomy.
Once you've had lunch, we'll return to the meeting point in Bogotá. We'll arrive back in the Colombian capital after a total of 8-10 hours.
Important
Please bear in mind that this tour will have a Spanish-speaking driver during the transfers. During the tour of the plantation, there'll be an English or Spanish-speaking guide. This will depend on availability.
