If you like urban art, don't miss this graffiti tour around Ciudad Bolivar. We'll see different murals in one of Bogotá's most colourful neighbourhoods.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Bogotá that you'll have chosen, and from there, we'll make our way to the southern part of the Colombian capital.
After a short journey, we'll arrive at the Portal Tunal Station, where we'll hop aboard a Transmicable cable car that will bring us to the Ciudad Bolívar neighbourhood, a colourful neighbourhood in Bogotá that is famous for its urban art murals. You'll love it!
We'll begin our graffiti tour around Ciudad Bolívar by taking in the most famous works of street art that can be found in the neighbourhood. What was the intention of the artist when painting these murals? Why were these particular tones chosen for this work and not others? Throughout the tour, we'll uncover all of these peculiarities and much more.
We'll continue this walking tour of Ciudad Bolívar by discovering the stories that are linked to the murals that we'll be seeing. Which one will be your favourite? The choice will be really difficult to make, as Bogotá is known as the Latin American Capital of Graffiti.
After finishing this tour, we'll eat a small snack, from a selection of empanadas, cakes or arepas. For a drink, you'll be able to choose between a glass of wine, Masato or soda. After this, we'll return to the Transmicable cable car that will bring us back to Portal Tunal. From there, we'll make our way to the 20th of July Church Park. At this location, you'll have an hour of free time to get something to eat. In addition, those who wish will be able to visit the Divino Niño Jesús Parish Church.
The tour will end back at the meeting point in Bogotá, where we'll arrive after between 6 and 8 hours together.
