Indigenous Ancestral Medicine Workshop
Description
Our journey begins at the entrance to Parque Nuevo Country in Bogotá where we'll gather at the appointed time. Here, we'll be welcomed by the Master of Ceremonies, and our indigenous ancestral medicine workshop will begin with a nature walk.
During our silent walk, we'll embrace the natural symphony that surrounds us, from the harmonious rustling of leaves in the breeze to the melodious songs of birds overhead.
Our path leads us to the place where we'll do the indigenous medicine workshop. Before we dive into the experience, we'll participate in a cleansing ritual to release negative energies and learn the art of healing and going with the flow.
Next, you'll be introduced to a selection of indigenous medicines that will be central to our journey. From snuff, a tobacco-based powder for inhalation, to chirrinchi, an Amazonian herbal elixir, and mambé, a product derived from the grinding and roasting of coca leaves. Throughout, we'll explain the ancient benefits associated with these natural products, allowing you to embark on a transformative journey to inner peace.
Before we say goodbye, we'll share a cup of coca tea, a beverage widely used by indigenous Latin American cultures to increase energy levels, curb hunger, and prevent disease.
After 3 enriching hours, our workshop will end, and we'll return to our starting point.
