Bodrum Cultural Tour
Description
Do you fancy delving into the artisan and foodie culture in Bodrum? If so, join us at the scheduled time in Öz Market, in the city centre and we'll begin a tour where we'll discover all the local traditions.
To begin, we'll explore the Bodrum Bazaar, where we'll check out all the authentic local stalls. As we walk through the bazaar, we'll enter a shop where we'll learn about the artisan work that is carried out by fabric experts. You'll be amazed! We'll then continue the tour by trying another typical delicacy as we stroll towards a jewellery shop. Do you know why silver smithing is so popular in Bodrum? You'll be told about all of this!
We'll continue the tour learning about the history and tradition that lie behind the Bodrum carpets. For this, we'll visit the workshop of a Turkish fabric expert with more than 50 years of experience. Their work is known and sold all around the world!
Afterwards, we'll enter one of the stalls at the bazaar to try some famous Bodrum street food, such as the doner and the midye tava. The best way to keep this cultural tour going!
We'll then continue trying out some of Turkey's most popular delicacies in a nearby bakery. Don't forget to try the baklava! Finally, we'll stop at a small art gallery where we'll see a traditional architectural exhibition.
After 2.5 hours, the tour will come to an end on Adliye Street
