Boca del Río Food & History Tour
At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel ready for our food and history tour of Boca del Río.
We'll head into the old town and go straight to the Museo Municipal de la Moneda. We'll visit the museum's galleries and discover the past of the city from a surprising point of view. We'll also get to see a collection called 'La Otra Cara de la Moneda' (The Other Side of the Coin) to learn about fights, traditional dances and graphic styles from all over the world.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Church of Santa Ana, built at the end of the 18th century and home to a statue that hides a curious legend. We'll learn all about it during the tour!
We'll then head to different places to taste three typical dishes from the state of Veracruz and enjoy two drinks. You'll get to experience the Jarocha culture through the taste of huachinango (red snapper), huatape soup, stuffed crabs, tamales and empanadas, as well as enjoying drinks like atole and popo. Delicious!
Finally, at 3 pm, we'll take you back to your hotel in Boca del Río.
