Fort St. Angelo can be found high up on a hill, where it overlooks the Great Port of Birgu. This spectacular construction is one of the most important military constructions in Malta, as it was used by the Knights Hospitaller in their defense against the Ottomans.

Currently, the fort represents different architectural periods, as it was affected during World War II and, as a result, underwent reforms at various periods.

With this ticket, you'll be able to access this monument and explore every corner of its interior, where you'll see some objects that used to belong to the Knights Hospitaller, such as examples of artillery. You'll also have included access to the collection of artefacts in the Maritime Museum, which recounts the history of the defense of Malta.
