Torre 47 Waterfall Hiking Tour
Description
We'll meet up at kilometer 226 of the Dr. Manoel Hipólito do Rêgo road at the specified time to set off on our hike to the Torre 47 waterfall. Get ready for an adventure-packed day in the stunning scenery of Bertioga's Atlantic Forest!
Throughout our journey, which will cover a total of 8 kilometers (5 miles), we'll traverse the bridge that spans the Jaguareguava River and venture deeper into the Serra do Mar, where the characteristic Atlantic forest of the region awaits. Did you know that this area is an ideal spot for observing wildlife? Keep a keen eye out! You might spot native bird species and butterflies.
Our path will lead us to the Torre 47 waterfall. Curious about the origin of this peculiar name? The trail will unveil the answer as we approach transmission tower 47, responsible for transmitting electricity from Itatinga to the port of Santos.
Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the beauty of the Torre 47 waterfall and take a dip in the cristal-clear natural pool at its base.
Finally, we'll make our way back to the starting point in Bertioga, where we'll arrive between 5 - 6 hours after we started.
