Berlin Jewish Quarter Guided Tour
At 3 pm, we'll meet up in front of the iconic Brandenburg Gate and start our guided tour of Berlin's Jewish Quarter.
We'll then set off and begin strolling through one of the most charismatic neighbourhoods in Berlin. From the era of the Kingdom of Prussia to the tragic events that occurred during the Nazi regime, we'll trace the history of Berlin's Jewish community as we explore this district.
During our tour, we'll learn all about Kristallnacht, or the "Night of Broken Glass" and the consequences this had on the Jewish population. We'll also discuss the effects of the Wannsee Conference of 1942 and the courageous women of the Rosenstrasse protest in 1943.
Having spent 2 hours 30 minutes exploring the Jewish Quarter and the beautiful courtyards tucked into its buildings, we'll finish our tour and say our goodbyes.
