Berlin Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the sheduled meeting point in Berlin's Goverment District an emblematic symbol of the city from which we'll start a guided tour of Berlin’s main arteries, squares and most important sites. We'll begin with a journey back in time as we visit several monuments around the city connected to World War II.
Among the places we'll visit are the expansive Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Führerbunker, formerly Adolf Hitler's bunker and a symbol of one of the darkest episodes in recent history.
Then, after passing by the old Reich Air Ministry, we'll stop at one of the remaining sections of the Berlin Wall and pass by the legendary Checkpoint Charlie, the city's most famous border crossing during the Cold War.
Next the tour will take us to the historical market square of Gendarmenmarkt, where we'll see the exteriors of its twin churches, before heading to Bebelplatz, the location of the infamous Nazi book burning in 1933.
To conclude our tour of Berlin, we'll head to the Museum Island area, where we'll admire the Neo-Baroque style façade of the imposing Berlin Cathedral, built between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. Finally, after three and a half hours of sightseeing, the tour will come to an end.
