Berlin Complete City Tour
Berlin Complete City Tour
We'll meet in front of the Academy of Arts at Pariser Platz. From there, we'll start a comprehensive tour of Berlin and discover the extensive history of the German capital. To do so, we'll stop at the most important monuments.
Berlin was a theatre of the Second World War. With this tour, we'll recall this tragic period of history with the city's memorials and, of course, admire the Brandenburg Gate and the former Ministry of Propaganda. Nearby is the Holocaust Memorial and the legendary Checkpoint Charlie, the most famous border crossing in Berlin. We'll also see other traditional squares of the city, such as the Gendarmenmarkt.
The tour would not be complete without a visit to Museum Island and a view of the TV Tower on Alexanderplatz, the city's most touristy square. Returning to one of the darkest episodes of humanity, we'll stroll through the Jewish Quarter, Berlin's first Hebrew cemetery and the New Synagogue. The New Synagogue is today one of the most important places of Jewish life in Germany.
Finally, we'll tell you about the Wall Memorial called the East Side Gallery, the largest open-air art gallery in the world. Did you know that the largest section of the Berlin Wall is preserved there? If time is on our side, we can visit it.
The tour will end at the East Side Gallery after 6 hours of sightseeing.
