The Berlin WelcomeCard allows for unlimited use of public transport and gives you up to 50% off in more than 190 museums and attractions in Berlin.
Card Details
The Berlin WelcomeCard includes unlimited travel on the subway (U-Bahn), trains (S-Bahn), and buses of Berlin and surrounding cities.
- AB Zone: Valid for the Berlin municipality.
- ABC Zone: Valid for the municipalities of Berlin and Potsdam (includes the Berlin Schönefeld and Brandenburg airports).
Each card permits the use of public transport by 1 adult and up to 3 children between 6 and 14 years old.

As well as transport, the Berlin WelcomeCard includes discounts of up to 50% on the main attractions of Berlin. This includes:
- Berlin Cathedral
- Television Tower
- Charlottenburg Palace
- Checkpoint Charlie Museum
- DDR Museum
- Madame Tussauds Berlin
- Deutsches Technikmuseum
- Sanssouci Palace
- Currywurst Museum
It also includes discounts for many attractions, shows, stores, and restaurants. You can download the catalog of all the attractions included at this link. Also, keep in mind that some of the museums might require or recommend making a reservation.
Museum Island
If you plan to visit at least two of the 5 museums on Museum Island (essential), we recommend you select the option of 3 days + Museum Island, as this option includes the entrance to these museums.

- National Antique Gallery (Alte Nationalgalerie)
- Bode Museum (Bode-Museum)
- Pergamonmuseum
Please note that the Pergamonmuseum is currently closed due to maintenance work. In 2027 the north wing of the museum, which houses the Pergamon Altar will open to the public.
In front of Museum Island, you'll find a new building where you can visit the exhibition "Pergamonmuseum. The Panorama!, where you'll learn about the altar's history
How does it work?
If you choose the 48 or 72-hour ticket, the validity begins at 8 am on your selected day. From then on, you'll be able to use it for the designated amount of time (48 or 72 hours) until 8 am on the last day.
If you select longer-duration tickets (the 4-day ticket or more), the card's validity will begin when it is used for the first time on the first day until midnight on the last day.
Remember to validate it the first time you use it. After that, it's no longer necessary.
Each Berlin WelcomeCard is valid for one adult and up to 3 children.
Printed guide
Once you have the Berlin WelcomeCard, you can pick up a complete printed guide at any of the Berlin Tourist Information offices:
- Berlin Brandenburg Airport: Terminal 1, Level E0. Daily, from 9 am to 9 pm, except on Mondays and Thursdays, when it closes at 5:30 pm.
- Berlin Train Station: Daily, from 9 am to 7 pm.
- Humboldt Forum: Gate 4, Schlüterhof. Daily, from 10 to 6 pm.
- Brandenburg Gate: Daily, from 10 am to 6 pm.
