On this boat ride around Bergen, we'll learn about the Norwegian fjord capital from a unique and different perspective. Let's set sail!
Description
After meeting at the cruise pier at the scheduled time, we'll set off on our boat ride around Bergen where unforgettable views of the coastline are guaranteed.
Along the way, we'll be able to take in a few of Bergen's most significant cultural landmarks, including a medieval fortress from the 13th century and the colourful Bryggen neighbourhood. Did you know that the city developed into a trading centre thanks to this historic neighbourhood?
As we sail along we'll pass a few old wooden warehouses near Skuteviken and Sandviken and discover the fascinating history behind them. After that, feel free to marvel at the luxury residences dotted along the islet of Måseskjæret and Verftet.
We'll also sail past the concrete ruins of the U-Boot Bunker Bruno, a submarine base built during World War II. Before returning to the heart of Bergen, we'll sail through the waters of the Nordnes Sjøbad and catch a glimpse of the city's bustling fish market.
After an hour-long boat ride, we'll take you back to our original meeting point.
