At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start a tour of Berat that will lead us to discover the great charms of the city of a thousand windows.
First, we'll head out to Berat Castle, a fortified citadel surrounded by imposing walls. As we climb up the hill, you'll enjoy fantastic views of the city and its surroundings.
Once inside the castle walls, we'll wander small streets admiring the charming stone houses and flower-filled gardens. Around the towers and fortifications, we'll see the ruins of a mosque and some churches, including the church of the Holy Trinity.
The next stop on our tour will is the famous Onufri Museum, where we'll discover the origins of Albanian religious art. In fact, this museum is dedicated to one of the country's most important painters. The exhibition, consisting of almost 200 works, traces the history of medieval sacred art.
Before the end of the tour, we'll have time to recharge our batteries with a traditional Albanian meal.
The tour of Berat Castle and the Onufri Museum will end four hours later in the center of Berat.
