Colombo Private Day Trip
Colombo Private Day Trip
We will pick you up at your hotel in Bentota at 8:30 am before heading north to the country's capital. Approximately two hours later we will arrive at our destination: Colombo.
Once there, we will have fun exploring the city and visiting its most important landmarks and monuments. We will visit the Pettah district, famous for its various boutiques and its bustling market; we will visit the iconic clock tower, admire one of the best views of the port, and see the old parliament building.
Of course, we will also stop at the famous Gangaramaya temple, which will impress you with its many statues! At noon, we will stop for a meal at one of the area's traditional restaurants and taste the delicious local cuisine.
Feeling recharged, we will continue the tour along Colombo's main street passing by the old Dutch Museum and the City Hall, where we will see amazing puppets of the country's past rulers.
Sri Lanka has its own set of twin towers and we will encounter them on the final leg of the tour, before heading to the old hippodrome to discover its stores and colonial architecture.
We will finish by returning to Bentota at 6:30 pm.
